Manages cross-functional teams regarding strategic sourcing projects. Responsible for conducting spend analysis, analyzing tack markets, calling sourcing value levers, executing competitive RFIs/RFPs and leading supplier negotiations. Leverages eSourcing technology platforms where appropriate. rises and executes executing plans to ensure sourcing benefits are fully realized. Builds and maintains strong relationships with key stakeholders at bottom the divisions and corporate functions. Supports nest egg tracking processes and participates in special infrastructure-building projects as needed. This is a super visible position which will lead value and significantly impact bottom-line profitability at OC. This is a highly strategic role, but will still have the tactical skills to confront results in the purchasing f unction.
